Le Carol - Latour-De-Carol

On our recent trip to Spain, Andorra and France we crossed into the Occitanie Department of France from Andorra and headed down to the coastal city of Perpignan. We drove through some very small and beautiful towns on the N20 Highway. The mountains, valley, vineyards, historic buildings, and other scenery was amazing on this part of our adventure. When we entered Latour-de-Carol we saw a a small sidewalk cafe called Restaurant Le Carol on the front of the building and Le Carol Snack Pizzeria on the sign by the road) and decided to stop and get something to drink and eat. We sat outside and a server came over and took our order..We were assisted by a family seated next to us that understood English as well as French and we placed our order. We ordered a couple of Coke Zeros and French Fries ...We just had to get French Fries in France for once....The French Fries were good and the Cokes hit the spot. We paid in Euros and then left for Perpignan.. The Restaurant Carol was a nice, quaint type of cafe that was a favorite of the locals...And it was well worth the stop....

Called for lunch by chance while riding between Andorra and Spain. The restaurant is run by a friendly chap. The fare consists of simple French food which was quickly prepared and served. The prices are very reasonable . There is free parking outside. Ideal for a quick lunch break.

In Andorra we stopped in this restaurant. The expiry date of the salad was exceeded, the kebab was cold. We then asked for the replacement from sandwiches we were told that it was the salad due to days. We made the waitress notice that the salad was rotten she smiled at us! I don't recommend it.

Super food, copyy, numb and not expensive... not to mention the exceptional reception!to redo the ones we will be passing...signed the Toulouse!

Bon restaurant qui mérite le détour, tout est fait maison pour un prix très raisonnable et le patron est très sympathique.
