The Boathouse At River Islands

Did and service were very good atmosphere is exceptional! Wheelchair accessibility: My sister is in a wheelchair and it was very good assisability!

The only problem is everything on the menu looked good, so it was difficult to choose what to order.

We ventured out to try The Boathouse At River Islands. I had the Jack Daniels Burger with macaroni and cheese. The burger and macaroni and cheese had delicious flavors! Jovita had The Philly steak sandwich with Kettle Chips. For our beverages, we both had water. I ordered The Boathouse and Grilled Pineapple Punch. The service here is excellent! My only critique is that the portions sizes could have been bigger.

We ate here last Saturday for dinner and decided to sit outside near the water to enjoy the view. My kids also wanted to play with the corn hole game. Unfortunately, these little white bugs were dancing above our heads and around our food so I had to ask for one of those bug fans to help repel them. Yeah, that didn't work. Luckily they didn't try to get in our food but it was definitely a nuisance. I ordered the salmon plate and it was slightly undercooked inside so the waitress took it back. She was so sweet and offered a dessert on the house because of the issue-pretty awesome gesture. Hubby (vegetarian) had the nachos but said it lacked seasoning. We'll come back in the future but maybe eat inside next time.

The service was extremely disappointing we went in for an earlier dinner around 6/6:30pm… after the waitress brought our drinks and starter order was she was no where to be found I had to get up and find her and we had to wait for a while for the food so we didnt have main course just got dessert but that was disappointing too. Overall we didn’t feel welcome there at all and it just ruined the whole experience.
