As others have mentioned, the rooms are dated, dirty and uncomfortable. I would not recommend to stay in the hotel, but come here for a day to use the pool (which is beautiful) and eat in the restaurant (what is delicious). make sure they. double prices in restaurant. we said there was no menu and were surprised when we were charged 100 euro for our meal for 2 adults and 3 children under 10.

Very good totecca fiorentia. the service could be better. it is more like self-service : . simone is a great cook. great out view during sunset.

Seafood from high quality local ingredients. if they are lucky to speak italian or translate someone, it is worth having with the owner about the wine growing. one of the best experiences in the toskana, and definitiw in lastra a signa.

We were looking for somewhere not too far from Firenze to have lunch before heading to the airport, but wanted to be a bit off the beaten track....and very randomly ended up at this fantastic place!! It’s around 25mins from Florence centre and same time...to get to the airport. We discovered they have an infinity pool looking out over the olive groves and vineyards, and there were lots of local families enjoying the pool and having lunch there, so a good day out if it’s hot!! Lunch was fantastic their daily choice of starters (crostini, carpaccio, meatballs, salumi, formaggio...yes ALL of them! , and then we had homemade pasta with ragù (they have three types, we tried two both delicious! , with a glass of prosecco to start followed by a very good house red. We couldn’t fit a secondo but will go back for it the bbq was on and amazing plates of mixed meat/sausages/fiorentina were coming out with potatoes and salads...!! The staff couldn’t have been nicer, it felt like we had joined a big family bbq, with around 150 people, and everyone else there seemed a regular so I think they were as surprised to see us as we were to find it! A real treat. €50 for 2.

Found this restaurant off the beaten track ! Could not have been better took our five children arrived to a warm welcome quickly seated out in the open. No sooner had we arrived out came a glass of cold bubbly. A bit different to what...we are used to but no menu this time! they just brought platers of food one after another!! Cold meats all types cheeses bread ect followed by sliced pork, sausage with lemon, crostini with mushrooms there was 7 of us but we only managed 1/2 very generous and delicious. Pasta course next again delicious the children loved it so did we ! Next to follow 2 big platers full of steak and pork cooked perfect served with roast potatoes very nice once again lots of food. Desert only 3 could manage it was lemon sorbet then to finish out came the lemocello. All in 204 euro for a meal and a night out fantastic place.
