Madison yu - Lasalle

We went to the madison to show on August 21, 2015. We were very satisfied with the service and the meal. quality restaurant with a very good service. the supper was parfais and dessert too, nothing to say for food. clean and large restaurant. Thanks to our waiter and restaurant for this beautiful evening! :)

Second visit to this restaurant which my colleagues and I visited rather than eat at our hotel. The service is good, we were nicely greeted and seated. We were eating mid-week so the restaurant was not too loud even though there was an NHL hockey final being screened. It was really nice to be able to talk and not have to compete with loud music! Food: a variety of dishes including burgers, ribs, seafood etc. good choice, but, the restaurant falls down on a number of points: there is a choice of meat or fish and then one has to choose between a helping of baked potato, mashed potato, fries or vegetables. And here is the ridiculous part...the baked potatoes are enormous, the vegetable serving is enormous and the fires fall from the plate. Not one of my colleagues finished the meal they were served. Could it be that this restaurant is compromising? They could serve smaller baked potatoes, WITH vegetables or fries rather than have the customer choose one or the other. It just says cheap,cheap and cheap to me. Three of my colleagues ordered seared tuna, three of us received different dishes, mine was WAY overcooked but in the spirit of full disclosure, I don't send things back to the chef unless they are inedible - I could eat it but it wasn't restaurant quality. The cost is OK, $20 per head without wine, but my second experience hasn't done anything to entice me back there unless it would be my only eating option in Montreal, which I know isn't so!

We were warmly welcomed by a friendly, attractive gentleman who also happened to be our server.

I feel like the general consensus for me for this restaurant is sort just not amazing but not bad.

This is my third visit to this restaurant. The drinks are unique and delicious, with detailed descriptions.
