I tried everything, it was either cold, had no taste, or just itchy. the crab legs were plentiful, but they were cold and the butter looked delish, but it did not taste like butter I tried (to try to get my money worth) but without avail. Even the desserts were not delicious, they look amazing, but they were not good, either I don't know whether it's a Texas thing or not because the reviews are good, but no no no no no. P.S. they buy a cake from carlos bakery vending machine when they see one! soouuuu good!
We had really high hopes on the wicked spoon buffet, as so many bright reviews of the available options had read. we have wiped out for about 25 minutes, which were not too bad and got to place after 11 o'clock. the problem was that it seemed to see really limited food options and not the range of buffet goods we had expected. first I thought that could be because we had arrived at the time between breakfast and lunch, so that maybe more options would arrive, but that was not the case. it was just the same eating that was there all morning.
My wife and I were in vegas for the first time. I know that sounds clique, but we wanted to eat at the vegas buffet. the wicked spoon was a unique place to enjoy. I can't think of many things that weren't above average to be really good. the desserts were subpar; but after the noddles, garnel and grits, fried chicken and spicy mac and cheese was dessert not so big from a disappointment.
I was disappointed by my experience at this restaurant, despite its high recommendations. We waited in line for half an hour before being seated, which normally I wouldn't have done. However, being in Las Vegas and hearing about the famous hotel buffets, we decided to be patient. The price was over $50 per person, which is expected for Vegas. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. I only enjoyed about 15% of the dishes, as most were cold or not tasty. I was excited for the ramen station, but the soup was disappointing and cold. Overall, this buffet left a lot to be desired and gave us a less-than-stellar Vegas dining experience for the rest of our trip.
DONT GO HERE! MANAGER STEALS MONEY!! I wish I could give 0 stars. The “manager” was extremely rude when my VEGAN friend asked if she had to pay if she was not eating. We had a party of ten and paid gratuity before even sitting down for a birthday breakfast. Each of us paid a little over 75$. Money was not an issue, Instead of simply stating that she could not be exempt from paying and sit in the restaurant she tried to make us feel bad with her negative attitude, terrible body language and rude comments. Her attitude was just uncalled for. She then became a financial advisor and suggested “we peace up” Simply distasteful… I asked if she told all her customers with questions to peace up. First time at a restaurant I knew nothing about she made it so uncomfortable. She also made unauthorized charges on my card after I walked away. Definitely going to be posting reviews everywhere to keep people from having the bad experience that I had. Super unprofessional. I definitely won’t be coming back ! Black women please do better! Just because we are black customers does not mean we deserve poor service and attitude.
