My husband ordered the filet and mentioned it was excellent; however, after tasting my dish, he couldn't stop asking for more! He paired our meal with a Malbec, which was a fantastic choice—slightly bold, very silky, and wonderfully spiced. The ambiance was pleasantly calm, complemented by the stunning views of the Vegas Valley and The Strip, along with the presence of my handsome husband. We moved to Vegas from Dallas, TX, just seven months ago, and this evening was a special celebration of our third anniversary. It truly was an exquisite night.
First and foremost, the restaurant’s atmosphere is absolutely stunning. As I walked in, I was immediately struck by the elegant ambiance and sophisticated decor. The dining area is spacious and well-lit, creating a warm and inviting environment that made me feel right at home. Now, let’s highlight the main attraction—the lobster tail and steak. The presentation was already enticing as the dish arrived beautifully arranged, showcasing top-notch ingredients. The lobster tail was cooked flawlessly—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Combined with a generous portion of impeccably prepared steak, it truly felt like a match made in heaven. The rich flavors of the succulent seafood paired with the melt-in-your-mouth steak created a delicious symphony that left me wanting more. The wedge salad served alongside was the perfect accompaniment to the main course. The crisp iceberg lettuce, dressed with a tangy vinaigrette and topped with ample bacon and blue cheese, delivered a wonderful blend of textures and flavors. Each bite was refreshing, providing a nice contrast to the indulgence of the lobster tail and steak. The service at The STRAT was also outstanding. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and well-informed about the menu, offering excellent recommendations that enhanced my dining experience. From the moment I was seated until I left, I felt well cared for and genuinely valued as a guest. To top it all off, the overall dining experience at The STRAT was enhanced by breathtaking views. The restaurant's location offered panoramic sights of the dazzling Las Vegas skyline, creating an unforgettable backdrop for an already exceptional meal.
This was our second visit, and while our first experience two years ago was fantastic, this time it fell short. The food didn't meet expectations; the baked potato was cold and hard, and I found a hair in my $38 lobster mac and cheese, which I couldn't finish after that unpleasant surprise. The ambiance is nice, but we won't be returning for a third visit.
The window view was phenomenal! We timed the reservation to experience all 3 twilight stages and it was worth it! We loved our servers and the food was very good! The stuffed mushroom appetizers were delectable, my husband’s bone-in New York was a savory cut that melted in your mouth, and the lamb was good. Coffee the Chocolate Hazelnut layer cake was the perfect way to end a wonderful early evening meal! Would go again!
I am an Italian American FOODIE, hands down the food was phenomenal!!!! Everything about this place was all stars and more. I personally had the shrimp scampi pasta dish. Outstanding!!
