The ultimate chirashi bowl is definitely worth every penny, and don’t miss the daily specials on the table. It’s a fantastic place on the southwest side for those craving delicious Japanese cuisine. Aloha! Shaka meter: 5 out of 5.
I didn't venture too far, but I was really impressed by the high quality of the fish at this restaurant, especially considering the reasonable prices. I noticed several tables of friends enjoying good conversations, drinks, and having a great time. It seems like a fantastic spot for a late evening out.
This is a lovely venue for à la carte dining, but the omakase experience fell short of expectations. At $100 per person, I was disappointed to find many dishes that seemed more like filler at under $10 each. For two people, we received a plate featuring some premium fish: 2 pieces of toro, 4 yellowfin, and 2 pieces of uni (which I forgot to photograph). Unfortunately, the rest of the offerings were mainly just the usual salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. I would have preferred smaller portions with a greater variety of fish. If I wanted to be overwhelmed with cheaper cuts of fish, I could easily go to a casual chain restaurant.
Eating was good mood was good service was good, but nothing special. that doesn't make me unforgettable.
Many of the old photos might be from the previous restaurant at the same place. This is an average restaurant that's simple, local, affordable and enough to fill a hungry tummy. But nothing more.
