Red Rice - Las Vegas

As a local Chamorro, I wish the food here had more flavor and was prepared more to suit Guam's palate. It's not terrible, but I would prefer it to be more savory and spicy, as is the typical preference back home. I met some friends here in the States who thought it was quite good, so I could be off base. However, from a Chamorro perspective, I probably wouldn't return.

While driving through Nevada, it was such a delight to experience a taste of home! The barbecue was incredible, the octopus kelaguen was perfectly done, and everything else we tried was fantastic! This is definitely a wonderful spot for lunch. I really loved the Chamorro vibe!

This was my first experience with Guam cuisine, and it did not disappoint! A colleague recommended this small restaurant, and it was definitely worth the short Uber ride from Caesar’s Palace. I tried the platter, which included BBQ chicken, spare ribs, red rice, cucumber salad, and chicken kelaguen, and everything was delicious. The only downside? You’ll end up finishing the entire platter without even realizing how generous the portion sizes are!

Amazing food. Always stop by and grab some food when I come to Vegas.
