Great service, very clean. It’s a fun dining experience. The food is very fresh.
We finally made it over here. We usually go to Chinatown but we are fortunate they opened up less than 2 miles from the house. Bonus! It was a Saturday night and we were surprised we were seated right away. The dining room is set up for social distancing. The staff were masks and sanitizer is available up front by the door. We really liked that it is hot pot and Korean BBQ. I personally like the hot pot and the hubs prefers the BBQ so it was a win. We ordered the AYCE is 25.95 a person for dinner and weekends 19.95 for lunch and from 2200 to close. We started off with the Chef's bbq special. It has beef flat iron, wagyu king kalbi, ribeye, mixed herb, roasted garlic, whole grain mustard and wasabi. 1-3 people can only order this once, parties 4-6 can order this twice. Parties for 4 or more also have to pay a 15% gratuity , I noticed that little tidbit from the menu outside, it's not on the menu in the restaurant. We also ordered the Chef's seafood special it has shrimp, crab claws, crawfish and green mussels again 1-3 person can order once 4-6 twice. I ordered the seafood hotpot with rice noodles. Choices for hotpot broth are tonkotsu, seafood, korean beef, spicy soft tofu, miso, they have 5 noodle choices. The seafood was ok. The crab was milly and the crawfish we dirty. We ordered gyoza,KFC, shrimp tempura. They all were good the shrimp were very small maybe a quarter of the typical size of a shrimp. The vegetable special was good and you can order it as much as you like. My secord order was just onion and mushrooms which I love. We also ordered baby octopus was delicious as was the beef tongue I recommend both. The beef ribeye bulkogi was another winner. there are a few sauces on the table, I wish there was more seasoning on the meats or at least something on the table. Some of the meat was bland the salt and pepper mix helped a little. The staff is terrific very attentive and on top of it when it comes to removing dirty plates from the table. Over all this is a win and I will be back, if your on the southside and don't feel like driving to chinatown stop in here and give it a try I don't think you will be disappointed.
We had a very fun and good experience. We did the all you can eat dinner. The broth is meant to be a little plain and they have sauces and spices that you can add. If you are unsure, ask a server to make something for you. There are 6 types of broth and you can choose two. You then select all your meats and veggies from a fridge at the back. They have an amazing selection of crab, lobster, fish, mussels, clams, pork belly, steak and many veggies. We at so much and it was so good. The service was also excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and oir water was always full.
Best hot pot experience I've ever had! The people are friendly and the meat is great!
