The food is authentic and delicious, with a wide variety of excellent options. The service was impressive, even with just one person attending to the dining area last night. The kitchen was efficient and got our food out quickly. When I lived in Las Vegas, I used to come here every week, so I had to return during my visit. Last night, I enjoyed the aloo gobi and garlic naan, both of which were fantastic. I've tried all of their vegetarian dishes, and they've all been wonderful!
This Indian restaurant, located just off the Strip, is a hidden gem that’s definitely worth your time. While many tales of discovering fantastic spots away from the main attractions come with a dose of caution, this place rewards those who are willing to explore. Nestled in a modest strip mall, the restaurant boasts a clean and tasty lunch buffet. The freshly baked naan bread is a favorite among diners, and the goat curry is equally wonderful.
First of all, the staff was rude! There was a woman—who claimed to be the “manager”—with tattoos on her arm, and she was incredibly disrespectful when we politely inquired about our order's delay. She raised her voice, spoke in an unkind manner, and had an awful attitude, which left us all in shock. We waited 20-30 minutes for our entrees, and despite having called ahead to confirm they could accommodate our party of 20, it clearly wasn’t the case. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was not working. The room was a sweltering 85 degrees, and we repeatedly asked if the AC was broken, especially since we had a pregnant member in our group who was extremely uncomfortable. Outside, it was 105 degrees. Then, to top it all off, we found a long, thick piece of hair in our goat curry. It was absolutely disgusting—just take a look at the picture I took. After waiting nearly half an hour for dinner, we were shocked to find hair in our meal. Fortunately, the actual manager, who was a nice and understanding guy, took the dish back and didn't charge us for it. Lastly, while dining, they brought out jugs of water, which is usually complimentary at restaurants. However, as we were leaving, that same tattooed lady tried to charge us $1 and then $3 for a cup of water when my family members asked for some. When my family mentioned her rudeness on the way out, her response was, “You are not welcome in our restaurant again.” The joke's on her—we will definitely never return, and I hope others find this review helpful in avoiding such a negative experience. Brutal! We almost left after our appetizers but felt bad since we had already placed our orders. Do not visit this place.
Excellent Indian food experience in Las Vegas. Lunch buffet had good choices of meat, and veg choices. Overall great food and can 't be beat for the reasonable buffet prices. They even had a one-of-a-kind serving robot that would take the bread to thetables. Pretty cool to watch it in action. Just minutes off the vegas strip. Parking can be a challenge in the shoppingarea. They also have a hall of fame wall for the Inferno challenge winners, and I will be back for that :
Just a bit unhappy that the symbols weren't explained. I hope I'm eating vegan. It's also too spicy for me. It has mild medium hot on all dishes but I dont understand what that means.
