The people were nice though and the water refills were always prompt. I would’ve given it a 2.5 but they don’t allow half stars on google so I rounded up.
The food was good. Great pork. The service was lacking. They’re not joking when they say they’re eggs are soft boiled. The eggs are flat out raw! Not my favorite shop and over priced for what you get. For reference additional green onions as a topping are $2. I can buy a bundle of green onions at the grocery store for less than that.
It was not bad and I want to make that clear. I definitely enjoyed myself. That said, I've had far better experiences at lower price points. This is strictly regarding the food. Their Tonkatsu ramen was fine, but the broth was pretty weak, flavor-wise. Not nearly as much punch as I'm used to. The noodles weren't my favorite either, but I can't truly put a pin in why. Egg was also extra, which surprised me, as it's very often included. $2.25 for an egg is a big ask.As it stands, Monta and Ramen Sora continue to be my big two for a great experience. In a city like Vegas where you have so many options, it's a hard sell to go somewhere more expensive just to have a less good experience. I do appreciate them for going for it though.
Little Japanese ramen house is hidden gem. Excellent food. We're hooked and enjoy coming here often. Food is consistent, high quality and addicting. Service is intimate, inviting and friendly. Definitely our go to for Ramen bowls and sides. My favorite is the Chicken Ramen. One side spicy and other side mild with steamed tofu added in. My husband's favorite is the curry ramen and pork gyoza.
"I recently visited a restaurant that claims to serve Yokohama ramen, but I didn't find anything that resembled what I am used to back home. Starting with the broth, it was very watered down. The noodles, which were supposed to be thick, were actually quite thin. The server even mentioned that the thin noodles were thinner than usual! It was difficult to enjoy the taste of the noodles, and they resembled instant noodles that you might find in a package from Indonesia. They were overcooked and overly soft. I ended up paying over $40, including tips, for just one miso ramen and two Kirin beers. To the owner: please respect the culture and the customers who visit your restaurant. I encourage you to learn about authentic ramen culture before opening a restaurant. Many people may not have the knowledge or experience, so please don’t mislead them. Thank you, Kenichi Miyamoto"
