EL Sombrero Mexican Bistro - Las Vegas

The restaurant is closed for business. Your site should be updated and not allow reservations for a closed business.

My visit to El Sombrero was extremely disappointing, seeing as the restaurant is CLOSED. I made the reservation, got a confirmation number in an email and now you are asking about my experience. I would suggest you might stick with restaurants that are in business. From now on I will contact the establishment directly and not use Open Table!

After driving 30 minutes to get to the restaurant we realize that it was closed . There was a note on the door saying the air conditioning went out and the restaurant would be closed for a few days. It would have been ideal if someone contacted everyone with reservations to make them aware and so that they could make other plans.

We were disappointed to say the least! Place smelled like a sewer, water tasted horrible, food barely warm and very mediocre. Waiter chatting it up with the other customers and we could not get his attention. He offered to bring us bottled water because the tap water was so bad. Then he charged us for the water!! I will not be back nor recommend it.

The restaurant was closed. We were not informed prior to our reservation. Very disappointing.
