Carbone Aria - Las Vegas

The atmosphere and music were fantastic, and the service was excellent. However, the pasta I ordered was disappointing. My friend also ordered the same dish and felt the same way. That was the only downside to our experience.

He suggested we order family-style, which we had already planned to do, but we waited 45 minutes after finishing our appetizers before inquiring about our second courses, the pastas. He told us he assumed we wanted everything at once since we were "splitting" everything. Why would he think that? If there was any uncertainty, he should have clarified it, but instead, we were left waiting for our second courses to be served alongside our appetizers. We were the first table seated, yet we were the last to receive our dinner. No one even apologized for the delay. The only gesture was a complimentary plate of meatballs that didn’t make much sense given the situation. My brother had ordered a nice bottle of wine for the table, but it never arrived. After about twenty minutes, we asked what was taking so long, and the server seemed shocked that we inquired. He claimed he thought we just wanted to eat dinner without the wine. It was such a strange response. We spent way too much money for such poor service, and when it came time to wrap things up, we weren't even offered coffee. Instead, the server just handed us the check and the credit card machine without any assistance. This was meant to be a special occasion dinner, and we tried to remain patient and in good spirits, but the service was truly scandalous. I felt embarrassed for bringing my family here and allowing them to spend so much money on what turned out to be such a disappointing experience on the eve of my special day. This will be the first and last time any of us visit such a supposedly fine restaurant.

We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. The waiter addressed all our questions and concerns about the menu with a friendly demeanor. He interacted with us pleasantly. The food was fantastic; I had the lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

We went for dinner at it was absolutely one of the best places and meals I have had from all my trips to Vegas. I am making it a must eat place when I return and encouraging others too go! I will be replicating the spicy vodka rigatoni at home. Score 10/10!
