Alder Birch - Las Vegas

We were quite surprised that the smell of smoke was everywhere in the casino. It was quite suffocating to walk to the back where the restaurant is located. It would permeate the restaurant when their doors opened. We will not be going back even though the food and service were excellent. Maybe consider a more smoke free area of the hotel to locate the restaurant? We are locals and always looking for good places to eat.

Our second time eating here and it did not dissappoint. We went on a Sunday night so less crowded which was nice. Would definitely recommend this place.

Drew, our server was amazing. Cocktails were great. But the reason we were there was for the steak which got great reviews. The steaks, $65 a piece, had no seasoning and tasted watery like they have been sitting in water or pre boiled. Also a bad cut of meat and hard to get good pieces to eat that weren’t gristle or fat. I expected much better based on the reviews. The Mac n cheese was disappointing but the steak was the big issue.

Happy hour was great, David and Kelly behind the bar are super. Drew did a great job as our waiter and the food was excellent
