Hong Kong Café - Las Vegas Strip

The food was pretty good but the service was very unpleasant. Our server did not check on us once and was really quick with the conversations. But hey, she was really quick about taking the bill and tips. Not sure if it’s because my party was speaking mandarin so we were treated differently since the waiter checked on other non-mandarin customers.

We dined at Hong Kong Cafe and were disappointed with our experience. The sweet and sour chicken was dry and chewy, and the Mongolian beef lacked flavor. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, which was below average overall. The eggplant noodles had to be sent back because they contained fish, which wasn’t listed on the menu. While our waiter was kind and removed the dish from the bill, the food was overpriced, and the quality did not justify the wait.

I ordered Yangzhou fried rice and fried beef river for lunch. Both meals were very delicious. The portion of fried rice was large enough, the service was very good, the dining environment was clean, and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

The food here is very bland. On top of being overpriced. Definitely would not recommend.

I had a customer dinner here. My customer said that this is the best sweet and sour soup that he has ever tasted! I really liked the wanton soup.
