Best dumping in town, $10 bottomless dumping +side dishes on Tuesday and Wednesday! Great service, keeps coming back to ask what else we want to try.
Food is pretty good. My only complaint is that I ordered the shrimp scollop chow mein but apparently it doesn 't come with the scollop. There was plenty of shrimp in it through which is why they still got a 4. And even though it says no min for delivery, if you don 't order enough then you get hit with a small order fee
Came here for dinner on Tuesday night after my friend had recently found this place when in search for dumplings. China Gourmet is located across (east) the street (Wynn Rd) from 99 Ranch Market. A very small location (different from the other China Gourmet 's or Gourmet China 's in the valley) with 6 tables, seating a max of less than 20 people. They offer a special deal on Tuesdays and Wednesdays consisting a menu of hand made dumplings and side dishes for $10/person. Chive, shrimp and pork dumplings Sour cabbage and pork dumplings Cabbage and pork dumplings Fennel and pork dumpling Fennel and pork dumplings Cilantro and pork dumplings Also has a vegetarian dumpling, one that consisted of stinky tofu, and 2 other ones. Each order of dumplings is 8 pieces and you can order as much as you want. We ordered 2 orders of each upon first order. They are all hand made and boiled. There are no pan-fried options or buns. We were only able to try the first 5. Cilantro never came out, but may have been mistaken for another. Skin is fairly thick due to being handmade from scratch skins but is soft because of possibly of being overboiled, but expected. Flavors are decent overall but the meat seems a bit loose . The chive, shrimp, and pork dumpling was the best one as it was the most normal one but had a nice chunk of shrimp in it too which was nice. Ordered 2 more orders of this one to finish the meal. We also got to try a few sides Popcorn chicken Ham hock w/ flavor sauce Chili oil flavored pig stomach Garlic flavor cucumber Fried eggplant pocket Popcorn chicken was fried pretty nicely and seasoned well. Ham hock w/ flavor sauce is simple but flavorful. Chili oil flavored pig stomach is similar to the ham hock. Garlic flavor cucumber was a nice freshness compared to everything else. Fried eggplant pocket is similar to the stuffed eggplants you see in like dim sum with some sort of meat/fish paste inside. Overall, great deal. Beats laboring for a few hours at home. Only downside is i dont have frozen ones saved for another day. oh well.. All of us were stuffed like a dumpling after eating all the dumplings haha..
We came here mainly for their AYCE dumplings! They offer AYCE during Tuesdays and Wednesdays for $10 per person! There are 10 different dumplings that you can choose from and 10 different sides as well. We tried five of the dumplings: Chive, shrimp, and pork Sour cabbage and pork Cabbage and pork Fennel and pork Chive and fish We actually ordered a cilantro and pork dumpling too but I think they gave us fennel instead. Each order is 8 pieces so if you want more, get two orders! The dumplings are pretty decent but because they tend to overboil them, the skin was a bit meh. But the flavors were still very decent. My favorite was the chive, shrimp, and pork dumplings! For the sides, we decided to try: Popcorn chicken Ham hock with flavor sauce Chili oil flavor pork stomach Garlic flavor cucumber Fried eggplant pocket Each of the sides were pretty decent. I think my favorite was the ham hack with flavor sauce good texture and the sauce was a good touch. They also have vinegar, vinegar with garlic, and chili oil for you to dip your dumplings in! Overall, they aren't the best dumplings I've had but this is such a steal! Normally, a plate of a la carte dumplings will cost you over $10 and it'll probably be around 8 pieces but here, ALL YOU CAN EAT for $10! Definitely worth a try!
