Silva 42 - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

My husband visited the restaurant, last evening as I was I’ll and couldn’t go out, he told me about it when he got back, and if I felt better tomorrow we could both go! We booked a table for 7 pm had a warm welcome from the proprietor, had a table indoors as it was a little chilly outside. Wasn’t disappointed the meal was delicious I had the fish which was perfect as it was the first proper meal in 24 hours! We had a Gran Canaria sweet which was amazing. The place itself is lovely very clean and the decor was great, so much so we are going tomorrow!

Average service, food acceptable but not special or different and certainly did not reach the level as shown on their web site. Not much atmosphere on the evening that we visited.

Very traditional Spanish restaurant. Lovely staff and service. Starters of cheese with mojo sauce and fried prawns really tasty. My wife's main was simple but nice enough whilst being slightly underwhelming, my main which was broken eggs with iberian ham felt a bit too greasy and had a strange sour taste to it which I think was the type of olive oil used. Not to my taste but overall a decent visit. Just be aware that the local taxes are not included in the prices on the menu.

Narrow in some corridors and heavy fruit area. the cause of making a super comfortable for customers and employees has been lost.
