San Remo - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Little restaurant near the main tourist drag. We were really nicely surprised to find that most of the main dishes were veggie with vegan options. Friendly staff and fab food. Cooked fresh so can take a while like all good food should be. Highly recommend.

We were there a few years ago and it was pretty good. Now there is another restaurant, Google says it's closed. The new restaurant/café also has vegan options and it is called “Fresquito”. Will post it as a new café

Yes, the vegan pizza is more expensive than the regular, but think about the work and the money going to find, buy and store delicious vegan cheese and toppings. I hate their chairs, but the location, the food and the most friendly owners ever make for it. And the pizza is AWESOME. Updated by previous rating on 2022-06-03

Vegan pizza for 15€, while the same with meat costs 11-12€. Don't support it.

Regardless of the quality of food, if the price for carnivore Pizza is 11 Euro and 14 for the vegan (real? aubergine is more expensive than Iberian ham or tuna? You know where not to go. Most options are meat anyway. Many other places to go in Las Palmas do not support this.
