Zeffiro Pizzeria - Las Cruces

New owner, undergoing a remodel, but still serving from a full improved menu. GREAT pizza, even better than the previous delicious pizza. Sadly the previous owner didn't share the bread recipes, so no more take out bread BUT there is available some sliced bread with garlic oil! Although I really disliked the old spaghetti, I will try the new one because it seems the new owner really knows his stuff and one of the staff told me he did taste tests and got votes on which things were best. This pizza has a nice thin, yet crispy crust like New York pizza.

Zeffiro is under new ownership, as if October 10, 2019, The menu is similar. They are working out their service routine and I expect smoother sailing in the near future. Their pizza dough is a little different but similar. They offer bread, but for an additional fee. No alcohol under they get their license.

This is a wonderful restaurant that I really enjoy visiting. The food is absolutely delicious, and the layout is visually appealing.

We visited a couple of weeks ago when they reopened for indoor dining. Masks are required upon entry and while using the restrooms. The waitstaff was very attentive, and the seating was arranged to prevent overcrowding. The pizza was fantastic, just as we had hoped, and as usual, we ordered more than we could eat, so we ended up taking almost an entire pizza home! Thankfully, it tasted just as good that evening! Unfortunately, I see they are now closed due to New Mexico's restrictions on indoor dining, but we definitely plan to return once they reopen to try more of their delicious dishes. The new decor looks fantastic, and I sincerely hope this restaurant can weather the current crisis. Thank you to the owners for providing such a wonderful experience!

The food is excellent, and the Lemon Asparagus pizza is truly outstanding.
