Salud! - Las Cruces

The visit to the put in las cruces is now more definite that I found salud! I am vegetarian, but love when I can find vegan food! I had mushroom tacos and salud salad. next time I'll try the vegan bowl. the staff was so friendly and helpful. the menu says that many items can be vegan or vegetarian, which is a plus in las cruces! and there are numerous Veg options on the menu. There are 2 seats in the free with schattoo and misters!

We were pleasantly surprised to find delicious vegan options at Salud! It's always a challenge to find good vegan options in smaller cities. Salud! offers amazing vegan dishes, creative cocktails, an extensive wine list, and contemporary decor all in one place. The service is excellent as well. We will definitely be returning for the vegan tamales - they were delicious. Many thanks to the creative and caring owners of Salud!

I have visited this restaurant four times and each time there seems to be an issue. They often remove items from the menu or the dishes are not prepared as described. It always leaves you hungry. I don't understand why they would stop offering the vegan chocolate cake.

I was excited to try this restaurant because of its reputation for sweet dishes and the great-looking vegetarian options on the menu. The chewed artichokes were flavorful and satisfying, although a bit on the greasy side. The mushroom “asada” tacos were underwhelming, lacking seasoning and featuring old, slightly fishy mushrooms. The cauliflower was the biggest disappointment, supposed to be roasted with za’atar but missing both flavor and proper cooking - some florets were almost burnt and completely unseasoned. I felt compelled to leave a review after squeezing excess oil from each floret. Despite the disappointing food, the staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered takeout so I didn’t have a chance to offer feedback, perhaps I caught them during a shift change or new cook training.
