I decided to give it another shot, but the phone was off the hook for the next half hour. Frustrated, I finally gave up and ordered from a place that seems to value its customers more.
This is a nice spot for chatting and enjoying some quality time over a glass of wine and a stone oven pizza. The macaroni was just okay, but the three cheese pasta and salmon dishes were excellent. However, the Nutella pizza seemed undercooked and likely needs more time in the oven if that's the norm. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it based on that experience.
What a delightful surprise! This place is truly a hidden gem. The wine I sampled was outstanding, especially the Sangiovese and the “Mini” blend, both crafted at their own winery. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, everything was served promptly. You'll be lucky to take some time to savor their delicious wines and enjoy expertly prepared pizzas.
This place is ok. Not horrible, but not great. The pasta is always very bland. I got the salmon pasta. The salmon was cooked well and flavorful. Not overcooked or dry. The pizza is ok. Wood fired. The wine is horrible! All of it had a very odd pickled or vinegary flavor to it. Overall there are other places in town that I prefer over this one.
I am thrilled to find some genuinely good pasta dishes in Las Cruces. Add a nice wine or beer, and the evening is very pleasant here.
