This food truck should be called The Fire Truck because the food is fire! The best Birria in the state, and I should know because I've been searching everywhere from chaparral to Santa Fe. If you don't know, then you're missing out.
My partner and I chose this restaurant for dinner because it is conveniently located 100-150 meters from the Holiday Inn Express on the same side of Deuce of Clubs Street. We were pleased with our meal at this colorful traditional Mexican restaurant. The bar is separate from the dining area by a wall, and there were plenty of non-alcoholic drink options available. I tried a delicious native strawberry daiquiri, while my partner enjoyed a tequila margarita with a unique lemon float filled with triple sec. Despite not being very hungry, we ordered appetizers to share. I had a Mexican pizza loaded with ground beef, beans, tomatoes, melted cheese, sour cream, and guacamole, while my partner had three mini carne asada beef tacos with pico de gallo and a mini salad. We also enjoyed chips and salsa. The menu offered a wide variety of options and the service was excellent. We had a cozy private booth and enjoyed the vibrant decor of the restaurant.
Mine and my boyfriends favorite place to get some amazing food. Amazing people working here. A must eat food truck!
This place was highly recommended by the manager at the hotel we were staying at for our 36th Wedding Anniversary. Millie is HIGHLY allergic to tomatoes and we informed our waiter of this. After waiting 40 minute to get some bean dip our food comes out and it's loaded with tomato's. They even brought out a red sauce that has tomato's in it. When confronting our waiter is was like no big deal. We left and now it's almost 9pm and no dinner. Happy Anniversary!
