Applebee's Grill Bar Restaurant

It used to be good. Lately it has been going down hill. Staff is not as good as it used to be and management is terrible. I like Applebees it has always had decent food but this one has given up!

I wish this place was more consistent. Sometimes you go and the food is really good and then the next time it is really bad. We just had an early dinner there tonight, and it was one of the not so good times. I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp with mashed potatoes. The food came out hot so that is a plus. But the meal itself was disgusting. The shrimp were tiny salad shrimp that were very overcooked. The chicken was bland. Nothing tasted like it had any seasoning whatsoever and the entire dish was swimming in oil. The potatoes were very sticky and starchy and had a weird bitter flavor to them. The waitress was ok, friendly, but she saw that I didn't even eat three bites from the plate and told her she could remove it from the table. Didn't ask for a box or how the meal was. So we just asked for our ticket, paid for everything, and left. I think this is the last time I will be eating here.

Had to send my food back twice. Burger was like a rock. They remade it and brought back with soft uncooked cold fries. The entire restaurant floors was littered with food and debry on the floors. Walking to the restrooms smelled like a sewer wanted to vomit. The manager and at least four other employees at register by the restrooms all standing around just talking while the restaurant looks like a tornado hit it and reeks like a sewer. Just repulsive! The crowd that comes in at the bar all look like they're involved in some type of illegal activity. The language that's used and shouting, their behavior is extremely deplorable! Manager or bartenders don't address this crowd at the bar or the nastiness of restaurant and cooks are tribble!!!

Walked into the restaurant, the girl up front was pleasant, just asked how many. Just then, another girl walked up at that time, and she was the one seating us. She just said, Follow me , no greeting from her whatsoever! Sat us at a table that was still dirty, put our menus down and just walked away. So my husband and I walked back out. Very rude!! No customer service at all. We decided to go to another restaurant. Greeted from the minute we walked in the door. I love Applebee 's but was very disappointed by the lack of customer service it certainly wasn 't very inviting at all.

Honestly they had ran pit of Ribeye but then had an issue with the steak and then came to tell me that they could still do it. It was a huge run around it did suck but at the end of it the manager was so awesome. Gave me a free Desert. Hooked me up on my tall boy and the steak eventually did come out and it came out delicious... I did not catch this managers name but she was an older woman with an Amazing Attitude... Keep Going!!
