I have been living in this area for more than 20 years and have always steered clear of this pub because of previous dining experiences. The food was mediocre at best - the chicken schnitzel was basic, the salad was drowning in dressing, the chips were lukewarm, and the fish was overly battered. There are much better dining options in the area. If the quality of the food matched the grandeur of the building, this place would be a goldmine. It's a shame and disappointing. Improve the dining experience and give us a reason to come back. The cafe across the street serves better meals.

We used to love eating at this restaurant, but today we had to wait an hour for our food and when it finally arrived, it was cold and nearly inedible. We won't be returning.
