Obregon's Mexican 1 - Laredo

Best Gorditas we've ever eaten here in Laredo. When we visit relatives, we always want to order several Gorditas to enjoy with the family. Great, friendly customer service.

Came from San Antonio and we always order 7 Gorditas and 1 Chile Relleno (Bef) and they were very delicious. When we visit relatives in Laredo, we always order from this place. Great customer service and friendly staff. The food is always great!!!

I absolutely enjoyed my meal that I ordered from the Mexican restaurant of Obregon. I placed my order outside in the takeout window. After placing my order, I was invited to wait for my order to be completed. While waiting for my order, the nice lady who took my order brought me a small bowl of noodle soup while waiting. That was very thoughtful for them, and it was absolutely certain that I would write a glowing review of this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was great, and I can’t expect to return to Laredo for some more Mexican “soul food”.

Great cozy place to have dinner in a family oriented atmosphere. Real Mexican food and not the Tex-Mex food that wants to pass as Mexican food. 100% Recommended

Overall the food was decent but to me it seemed overpriced. I pretty much got too large menudos and ate tacos with two sides of avocado and the total came out to almost $60. I will admit that the tacos they come with a lot of meat but it did not have any flavor compared to other barbacoa I had in the past. The menudo was good but it lacked taste and I needed to add salt and a lot of lime to make up for the lost taste. Tried it because it was recommended but wouldn't try again just my opinion.
