La Laguna Mariscos And Sushi - Laredo

I have to say, one of my biggest pet peeves while dining is dealing with flies, and unfortunately, this restaurant has a significant fly issue. I've visited twice, and both times, I found myself spending more time swatting flies than actually enjoying my meal. During my most recent visit, I even requested to-go boxes so I could take my food home and eat without the distraction of pests.

I went to La Laguna with my son, both of us very hungry, looking forward to a good meal and a couple of beers. Unfortunately, my dish was completely burned on the outside, while the bacon inside was raw. The burnt taste mixed with the undercooked food really disappointed me and ruined my appetite. It’s clear that they need to properly train their cooks. When they first opened, the food was excellent and flavorful, but it seems that some employees lack care and passion for their work, which is detrimental both to themselves and the business. I won’t be returning to any La Laguna location again.
