Petra Lounge - Laplace

I had a wonderful experience at this charming and peaceful little restaurant. I started with the soup of the day, which featured finely diced tomatoes and had an excellent flavor, beautifully presented. It wasn't overly rich with heavy cream, which I appreciated, though it was on the salty side—something I personally enjoy, but others might find it a bit excessive. For my main course, I tried the Petra pasta, which was generously loaded with seafood, paired with a cream sauce that might be considered slightly excessive, but I loved it. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the portion size was very generous. The waitress was polite and attentive, maintaining just the right distance to ensure I felt looked after without being intrusive. The surrounding shopping plaza may not be the most picturesque, but this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Our server was extremely friendly and professional, the food was delicious, and the drinks were expertly mixed. We will definitely return for an evening of live music while enjoying the atmosphere.

This is an excellent venue for a private party! The food is amazing, and the staff is friendly, professional, and personable. Recently, I started ordering for my family, and I can’t believe I spent so many years at chain restaurants when Petra has been right here! The chicken parmesan has become my new favorite, and I always order the calamari when I visit! I'm never disappointed! I absolutely love this place!

I had the Pasta St. John, and it was fantastic! The cream sauce was wonderfully light, and the combination of chicken, sausage, mushrooms, and bell peppers was excellent. This restaurant has a charming and elegant dining room, and the staff is incredibly friendly!
