The food at this restaurant is fresh and there are plenty of options to choose from. The space is clean and offers a great view of Paoay Lake. I visited during sunset and the view of the lake with crimson clouds in the background was truly breathtaking!
Initially, this restaurant was fantastic when it was still called Vista de Lago. However, since changing the name, possibly under new management, the consistency has been lacking. On two separate occasions, we noticed a difference in portion size - initially generous, but significantly reduced near closing time.
This Mexican restaurant offers dishes that have a unique Ilocano twist. It is located along the Paoay-Laoag highway with no public transportation available, but you can rent a vehicle to easily reach the restaurant. The restaurant is situated next to the kamarin, providing diners with a breathtaking view of Paoay Lake.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, as is the service and the view. It is now my favorite restaurant in the region. We particularly enjoyed their Ilocano dishes such as Ygado, Dinakdakan, Kare-Kare with Bagnet, and Upo Rice. The operations manager was friendly and accommodating. The panoramic view of Paoay Lake from the restaurant and the view deck was stunning. The industrial interiors with touches of greenery were also a nice touch. They also offer pasalubong items like Mushroom Chicharon, Bagnet Chicharon, and Dragonfruit Wine. I suggest they consider including products from local MSMEs in the community. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning.
