Emma's Cantina Mexicana - Lanzarote

I don't know why it is here and travel adviser, and other places etc. says that the place has vegan options. we stood up there, got a table from a very crisp and atmospheric woman, then another man brought our menus. I decided to double check with him that they had vegan options and he immediately snapped at me “No, that we are nothing vegan on the menu is vegan we only vegetarian do” he explained it because they do not have space for another frit in the kitchen, so I’m not sure if they have a frit for vegetarian and meat options or if they are just a frite for all their veggiarian option. the woman then saw that we went and tried to tell us that they could do vegan options that they simply did not have on the menu. I admire the hearts of honesty, as it seemed desperate to have more customers. in any case we went on the way to blossom cactus instead and eating was amazing! 100% recommend not to go there.

Top Mexican food, the best of this side of the atlantic, is worth visiting as it is consistently very good. the chilli roja is the best, but be careful if they don't have flameproofed rims! chocolate tequila shot all around after as thank you for their custom are always good too....And now to helens old sports cash for some great craic!

Our party had queensadillas, nachos, fajitas and enchiladas, followed by brownies and crepes. everything was amazing and is the best food we have eaten so far on lanzarote! super friendly staff and such a beautiful atmosphere.

We found the restaurant on the morning, hoping to have dinner there in the evening. I would read many good reviews on happy cow before the visit and was quite hopeful at the arrival. No one was in the restaurant at the time, so we drove back where the bar should be inquired about possible vegan menus. a woman approached us and we asked them for options etc., but she had no idea what a vegan was, and then I tried to explain (how best I could in broken spanish) that there was no meat, no fish, no milk and no eggs meant, but she did not yet understand and then offered me a chickensalat. unmatched, we left and found a restaurant different!

I love this place! when I lived 5 months on lanzarote, it was one of my favorite places to eat. they got new menus a few months ago and they are easier to read than the old, so it is easy to see how sharp the court is. they make their own salsa and chips that are so delicious. Whenever I go to lanzarote, I always have to eat here.
