Cactus Garden - Lanzarote

The menu is marked with a (v) for vegetarian options, plenty of choice! You need to speak to the staff to clarify what is vegan, it was a little confusing as the allergen menu didn't seem to match what the waiter told us BUT, cactus burger was delicious and unique experience. Overall happy!

This café/restaurant in the gorgeous cactus garden is almost entirely vegetarian with numerous vegan options. Highly recommended.

This small restaurant is situated in the Jardín de Cactus in Lanzarote, which was originally created by the famous artist Cesar Manrique. The food was excellent and there are lots of vegan options. Service was also good. You have to be careful though because they don’t fully distinguish between vegan and vegetarian dishes and there is simply a V symbol on both of them on the menu. You need to ask or check to be sure. For example I had to tell the waiter to give me my cactus burger without cheese. Portions were also a bit small. Prices were good. Overall it was excellent and worth visiting. Updated from previous review on 2023-03-20
