Ukai Hibachi Grill Sushi - Lansing

Never had a bad experience in any of the multiple dozen times we have sat down and called for takeout food.

Hit or Miss. Food quality is downhill over the years. I've been a customer since 2014. The spicy tuna poppers were served on a bed of cabbage to go commands, so they are not soggy, now they are thrown into the box and today mine were with the blows that all fall out. They're much smaller than they used to be. They used to be so good!! Salad I hardly got a salad in it today and is brown/wild. Tyson roll I got today the rice was over boiled and chicken was hard. Could say it was sitting for a while, even though I came there in 25 minutes as they told me. I have the hope that this place on the Sushi side will return to its former glory, but it does not appear that way. Was not even able to eat my meal today because how bad everything was. Maybe this place has to be cut out of the rotation if it remains. Once in a while, everything is done very well so that it keeps me back.

One of the best restaurants in the Greater Lansing area! We enjoyed our office Holiday Party in Ukai. It was filled with laughter and lots of fun memories thanks to the staff and our cook.... Thanks for the nice evening!

Mixed review. Usually this place is fantastic, but in the last two weeks I only appeared to say they close early and a second time we called before, and although they have no reservations available we have where more than welcome to come and wait. When we arrived there, we said to go because it wasn't possible for us to sit for the rest of the night at all.

This was my first time that Hibachi cooked right before and didn't disappoint a bit. I always enjoyed a minute and the food was interesting and good at the same time. Absolutely would be back. Child friendliness: Me, my son and me went to the restaurant. The staff was so nice to him and made fun for the whole family. My friend's son got a kick out of the moment, whether it's the onion train/Vulkan or he's catching the cooking tools, all that was. That was pretty impressive. In any case, a meal, experience and show in your own right.
