Streetkitchen - Lansing

The chickens and waffles were delicious! I never had sweet potato waffles – very interesting. Perfectly cooked chicken. Great mimose. My husband said it was the best cookies and Gravy he ever had! Will definitely try again for dinner!

The folk cuisine is a great place in Lansing. The food was made from scratch and it was really shown in quality. We stayed here on the way to Detroit and ate from the Happy Hour menu limited options, but we both had really great meals. The atmosphere was very family and the staff was welcoming. The Margarita was great and there was a great beer selection. We will look for ways to come back in the future!

Definitely worth checking out! Brunch tasted great! Service was super fast, even though they were slammed on a Saturday morning-we got right in and seated. The decor is unique, and the atmosphere is fun. Lots of stuff to look at and take in. The pork belly was delicious! My husband had the Have to have it hash and I had the Crushin it. We would both come back- for sure!

Love the look and feel of this place, very unique and original and the same can be said about food as well. The food was great, smaller menu, but everything we had was right at the point. Prices and shares seemed fair. Only reviews are we told 30-45 minutes for a waiting period that ended over an hour, and the music that plays inside seemed a constant battle against all who screamed inside to hear each other. Sound dampening in the ceiling or cutting off the music if this would be busy a long way, but even loud the atmosphere and the food were great. Entrance

I wanted to be here too long. I wish I would come more because it was excellent! Brunch on Saturday was lively, but we somehow took it right and there was no waiting time. Had the Benny (and the jets) : braided short rib, fried egg, brioche, Hollandaise and bacon jam. It was full of taste and delicious! Service was also friendly, and the room was eclectic and cool. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
