The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and a cool interior design, making it a great spot for a casual drink at the bar or a meal with the family. The service was prompt and friendly, even on a busy Friday night. Overall, the ducks were very good. The macaroni and cheese was nothing special on its own, but when paired with pulled pork, fried onions, and Chipotle BBQ sauce, it was much improved. The fried pickles were the best we've ever had. Although the prices were a bit high for the slightly above-average quality, the portions were generous. While Smokey Bones may not be our top choice for date night, we would definitely consider returning in the future.
I recently dined at Smokey Bones in Lansing for the first time. My server, Paige, was extremely friendly and attentive. I decided to order the grilled salmon along with the Fried Pickles as an appetizer, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. I also tried the Tito's Strawberry Lemonade, which was perfectly mixed and tasted great. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Smokey Bones for a meal.
I would give the food at this restaurant 4 stars, and the fifth star goes to the bartender who provided excellent service today. It was our first time at Smoky Bones and we asked for recommendations. A friendly, brightly skinned female bartender with glasses helped us. She had a great attitude! I recommend trying the Stupid Wing with baby back ribs.
The smoked wings were really good! The brisket (up was dry, down was better with the fat) was ok. The smoked sausage tasted like Italian sausage (it was good). I liked her dry ruin. They gave me extra! Good recommendation from my wife...
My fiance and I had dinner tonight at Smokey Bones and Shar Phelps was our server. She is amazing as always, she always has a smile and sincerely loves to help people. Thank you for the amazing dinner!!
