Manhattan Bagel - Lansdale

Later, I visited the shop in person for coffee. The space is quite spacious, with plenty of seating and a very clean environment. I ordered coffee from the kiosk, paid, and then helped myself at the coffee station. The coffee was excellent. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was comfortable. I also tried the egg white, turkey bacon, and cheese on a bagel thin, which was very tasty.

I visited the drive-thru at 11:55 AM to order a lunch sandwich. I opted for the Ham and Swiss and specifically requested the lunch sandwich, which is listed on the menu with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. When I got home, I discovered that the bagel only contained ham and Swiss. I was quite frustrated having paid $11.54 for just ham and cheese on a bagel. I called the store to speak with the manager about this. I was informed that I should have specified all the toppings I wanted, or I would only receive what I got. Let me ask you this: when I go to Burger King and order a Whopper, is it necessary for me to specify that I want lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, and mayo, or is that understood since it’s part of the sandwich description? The manager I spoke with was rude and arrogant. She interrupted me and insisted that I was entirely wrong, with no apology whatsoever. I cannot fathom how someone with such a disrespectful attitude holds a position of authority. I will not be returning to this location due to the poor service, and I believe this kind of treatment will eventually reflect poorly on the owners. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Worst bacon, egg cheese croissant I have every ordered and ate (took it home). Says cheese on my receipt, but there was no cheese. Hardly any spinach. Slapped together. And overly priced. I was not impressed last time I went, but after today, I am not going back. Lady at cash register was polite and restaurant clean, so hence the 2 stars.

Two stars and I'm pushing it. The prices are above what you should pay the bagel sizes are variable in size. My order was not correct see picture for receipt and what I got (wrong amount and variety). I mean I'm not ordering a wild special order here.. The only two bagels ordered right in the 7 I ordered were poppy, everything and chocolate chip... Gave this place a few chances but this was my last. Better options locally.

I personally have not been to a decent Manhattan Bagel in awhile. I actually stopped going because they were always running out of the good sandwiches or any variety at my local place. So if I 'm ever in the area again this is definitely an option for me and my guests. The selection of bagels to choose from will spon your head. They even have gluten free bagels so one of my kids significant other now has options here. If you choose to live that lifestyle great but they don 't have to imagine they don 't have a choice. This is definitely a God send for them! Not sure how long they 'd had it on the menu but it now gives us a new place to hang out with family and friends without punishing them because most everyone doesn 't have their limitations. Glad they have added that to the menu. On a side note thank God I personally can eat just about anything on the menu. I 'm willing to try some of those different kinds of bagels, some more 'exotic ' then others. ? I took a brave step this morning to try the garlic bagel. The people close to me suffered until I grabbed a ton of mints. ? Definitely a ?????? bagel! Shame I did have the coupon/promo I meant to use, definitely would have loved to take advantage of that and take home a few bagels. Try using the kiosk, you can review all the options you probably never knew about. Bon appetit!
