Pine Cone Cafe - Land O' Lakes

I am 65 years old and have been working in kitchens since I was 15. By the time I was 20, I became the Executive Chef of a large and popular hotel, and I've held executive chef positions at several high-end establishments since then. I'm not trying to boast; I'm simply stating my qualifications when I say that the Pine Cone offers the best breakfast in the Northwoods. You would have to drive quite a distance to find anything that compares. We make it a point to stop by whenever we can.

Excellent service and food! My wife prefers her hashbrowns nearly burnt to a crisp, and this restaurant fulfilled her request perfectly on the first try. The tables were spotless, and our waiter checked on us multiple times throughout our breakfast. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Stop for breakfast I got the breakfast burrito my wife got scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. The wife enjoyed her breakfast and my breakfast burrito was ok, but was missing something that I just can’t determine what. Being from the Phoenix area I get a lot of authentic Mexican cuisine, so I guess I can’t hold a Cafe in Wisconsin to the same standard.

The food here is fantastic and incredibly affordable. It's a charming little spot with unique decor. The staff are friendly, and there are plenty of options to choose from.
