Steak 'n Shake - Lancaster

Called in to say I was there (on time) for curbside pickup previous ordered and paid for via the Steak and Shake website. The person who answered was flustered and said they would get it out soon. 20 minutes later had to mask up and walk into store. Nobody acknowledged my presence at all. I just stood there, waiting for someone to even walk over to the counter. Five minutes later, I finally spoke up and asked about my order. The guy at the grill just shrugged and pointed to his monitor. The drive thru girl said she would bring it out soon. I said I would rather just get it now, and that many cars had gone through the drive through while I was waiting. She checked the orders sitting on a shelf, found mine and passed it over. Of course, it was cold. It had been sitting for 30 minutes according to the grill ticket. Used to love this place. Never again.

Fries was old and stiff cold. Sandwich was bad ,not enough toppings and hamburger was old and cold .

Pleasantly surprised. Service was good, fast and friendly. Food was got. Shakes didn't disappoint

Fast, quality food AND service every time I Gabe l have been here. I really enjoy the free fries too! The drive-thru always seems to have somebody there with a friendly personality.

We?ve been to this location twice now in the last month and the person working the drive thru window is so pleasant and nice! They are very polite and caring. Also the food was fabulous. This restaurant has really stepped up their game since the last time I visited, which was a very long time ago. But if any of the management sees this, you should take good care of your drive thru person. Tall, slender, dark hair and gold eyes. They?re fabulous. Especially during these trying times.
