The green beans in garlic were the overall winner of our last visit, but the eggplant in spicy garlic sauce was a tight second. The dry hot pot chicken, a new attempt for us, was also very good. Many bird chilis, but they were easily put to the side, for my more sensitive palate. My husband revealed it. Wonton soup soldiers were nothing special, but the bone broth in which they were served was magnificent and tasteful. Service was prompt, restaurant was very clean; Toilets are miniscule. All in all, an excellent place to get good Chinese cuisine.
Best Sichuan food in the area, hands down. We were in China and Sichuan Province in 2015. There is no doubt that eating at Mount Pepper is authentic. If you go, you need to try the dry roasted hot pot dishes. They are phenomenal!
It was suggested that we try the Mount Pepper and we are so happy that we did. Excellent food. We ordered: Wonton soup, Wonton in chili oil sauce, shrimp spring roll, dry-worn lamb w. Chili Pepper sauce in hot pot, All-on-Sea (mixed seafood of scallops, squid, crab, fish) w/vegetables, noodles w.hwedes beef in house spicy soup. Everything was excellent.
Authentic Sichuan Essen. I got the lamb, the lamb dry pot and the shrimp dry pot. All I had is very good.
Mount Pepper offers the best Sichuan cuisine in the area. Their spicy dishes taste always awesome. The steamed pork buns (xiaolongbao) and the mushroom soup (West Lake soup) are my favorite.
