Hunger-n-thirst - Lancaster

The restaurant is still fantastic, but this visit exceeded expectations. Our server Michael and the bar manager were exceptional, and the food and drinks were excellent. We only tried one cocktail but would order it again, and every dish we had was ranging from very good to phenomenal. The mussels, black beans, black cheek panini, and the cod special were particularly outstanding. The menu changes regularly, but you really can't go wrong with anything. This is one of the top restaurants in Lancaster with one of the best bars as well.

I would like to give a higher rating! The food was delicious, the ambiance was pleasant, and the drinks were good. However, the service was poor and rude. We arrived a little before 5 o'clock with our children (we have a young family) and the hostess rolled her eyes at us when we entered. Our server was visibly annoyed that we had young children with us. He let out a few sighs when my well-behaved child dropped a few fries. I understand that children can sometimes disrupt the atmosphere of a restaurant, but our children were well-behaved and we did not deserve to be treated rudely. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Try the specials, enjoy the varied beer and cocktail options, and don't miss the chicharronneses. The menu is seasonal, so be sure to try new offerings. The birria tacos are a must-try, but the chicharronneses steal the show. Order them for the table and they'll disappear in no time. This spot in Lancaster is one of our top choices for dinner.

We sit at the bar for eating and drinks. they have a great choice of beer, wee and drink. phil the barkeeper is a lot of fun and I recommend reading his Facebook posts. his contributions often contain interesting historical information about drinks. the menu is not extensive, but we can always find something we like and it is delicious.

Delicious food the braised chicken with risotto was so good, I'm still dreaming about it. I got the Eldersour to drink and it complimented the chicken so well, was perfect refreshing, and happily boozy. It was our servers first night working on his own, and had he not told us, we'd never know. He was awesome and clearly skilled. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!
