Przekaż informację zwrotnąWent for dinner during our road trip and found this restaurant. The sign on the building was only half working when arrived. Inside seemed nice. Normal restaurant style. Went for the 3 course meal deal and had staters came which were quickly eaten. Then took a little bit of time for the mains to arrive. They were okay but very basic and didnt seem like great quality chicken, how ever other parts were nice. The wait for our plates to be cleared was so long that we didnt even want to continue with dessert as didnt want to be there all night. There wasnt even a waiter in sight for ages to be able to try to wave at. After finally getting the bill we waited again for ages how ever we couldnt wait any longer and so we left with the money on the table. It was a Monday night and not busy. Poor service and average food. We could of walked out easily without paying and dont think they would of even noticed. Would of been okay if the service was at least normal.
When driving down the A35 motorway, we badly needed to stop for a break. As there weren't any motorway rest areas nearby, we took a chance and took the Lampertheim exit - where we found Pizza Paï!Both my colleague and I ordered the Capricossa (or something like that) pizza. In my opinion, the pizza was properly baked, had a nice thin crust, and a appropriate amount of toppings. To our surprise, there was a dessert included in the price, when ordering from their lunch menu... For 14€ including a soft drink, the price was reasonable as well.If you find yourself driving down the A35 to Strasbourg or Mulhouse, this is definitely the place to eat your lunch...
Was poisoned by my local pizzaria, so Pai had a chance, 2 in fact. Something is very wrong here though. 1st try I was convinced the base tasted of cigarette ash. Really difficult to eat cigarette ash flavour pizza, believe me. Maybe an earlier burnt pizza error I thought; 1 more chance. Still no better on try 2, so at least it's unlikely to be cigarette ash, just a very bad pizza. And the drive in is a joke, you'd have to see it to believe it, but I think they've finally given up on it and you have to order inside now. I see they reply to almost every bad comment here; they need to employ that public relations person to improve their pizza's instead. Apologetic comments here didn't hold my business. So with no option, I bought a pizza stone, a new oven, lot's of research, and my own pizza's are now very respectable. If I ever want that Pizza Pai flavour, I just need to buy a pack of cigarettes.
