Alfredo's Mexican - Lampasas

While the indoor atmosphere is a typical nut and pop Mexican restaurant, the outdoor dining experience is wonderful. the setting is at the river level and there are statuarial and dining area. note that they do not credit cards/debit cards. they have a paid atm in front of location.

The food and service were excellent! If you enjoy some heat, be sure to ask for their spicy salsa! I had a delicious burrito with grilled chicken topped with chili con carne sauce. I rated it four stars because, in this day and age, they really should accept debit and credit cards.

Great venue, cant wait for the heat to give up and look outdoors on the stream. good tasting and good service. the prices are reasonable and the shares were correct. we're going back.

The food is delicious, but the prices are quite steep! Expect to spend around $50 to $60 for two people. Most dishes are priced between $15 and $16, and fajitas are nearly $19 for a single serving. Beers cost $4.99 here, while you can find them for $2 to $3 elsewhere in the city. A large queso is $10, which is about the same size as a small or medium at other places. Overall, the food is great, but you'll definitely pay a premium for it.

On July 1, 2022, at 6:35 PM, we visited this restaurant for the first and last time. While the service was fine and the place was cute with a great view, the food was disappointing. The chips and salsa were decent, but the rest of the meal lacked flavor. I couldn't believe that something as simple as guacamole had no taste at all. The refried beans seemed like they came straight from a can and had no effort put into improving their flavor. Additionally, it's frustrating that they only accept cash. Overall, it wasn't a great experience.
