Hy-vee - Lamoni

When I purchased a second home here a few months ago, I found myself missing the plentiful vegan options I had back in Los Angeles. I had to drive 30 minutes to a Wal-Mart for some options, and for most of my groceries, I had to go an hour to Whole Foods in Des Moines. So, I contacted Hy-Vee company, as they have a location in the city that I would rather support. They connected me with Melissa, who was able to stock up on vegan products for me. I had to drive 30 minutes to a Wal Mart for some options, and for most of my groceries I had to travel an hour to Whole Foods in Des Moines. So, I decided to reach out to Hy-Vee corporate, as they have a store in town that I would rather support. They connected me with Melissa, who manages the store, and I asked her if they could start stocking some vegan products. She was very responsive and made it happen quickly! The store now has a diverse selection of vegan and vegetarian items available. I love it!
