The food is delicious, the prices are surprisingly fair, and the staff is lovely. I had either a Tricolore or a Mozarella panini almost every day for a month - they really fed me well. I brought my friends along and it became our go-to spot. The service was quick and easy, and the friendly blonde waitress always took my order with a smile. The pastel de nata dessert is a must try! I heard they also do a great English Breakfast, as I saw many people ordering it. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. I will miss it now that I'm away, but I know I'll be back someday. Please don't change too much - PS: I recommend the Vegetarian Panini for gloomy days and the Tricolore for sunny ones.
Lovely cafe with great food, we keep coming back! Delicious breakfasts, not too greasy, at very reasonable prices. I recommend the baps in lovely fresh rolls, that are huge! Lovely kind staff who great you with a smile. Great seats outside for sunny days! Thanks all at Waterloo cafe
Great breakfast to set you up for the day, very good value with a cuppa thrown in with the price. Will be coming back next time I'm in town.
I often drop in here when travelling through Waterloo. The reason being you can always rely on a decent bit of food at a good price. The place is popular and not oversized so you are a little at elbows at busy times. This adds to the atmosphere of a traditional London cafe. I had the breakfast bap, a meal to set you up for the day. A Deluxe breakfast was also had, washed down with coffee. If you visit you can order at the counter or there is table service. Very much worth pop in.
Unassuming cafe with authentic feel. Super affordable and delicious. The staff were very friendly AND they also serve a veggie English Breakfast :
