The next day I was charged for bottles from the mini bar, even though i told them that I put the bottles in the wardrobe.. because I used the fridge for my own juice bottle. They still charged me for a few bottles that i didn't take they didn't even bother to get back to me or reverse the charge. outright theft!
I will not be returning to this restaurant. The service was terrible and the staff were rude and judgmental. They require a minimum consumption of £25 per person before even greeting you, which makes you feel unwelcome. My martini was made incorrectly and had to be exchanged for an espresso martini. Additionally, my Coca Cola was forgotten and took 35 minutes to arrive. The bill was incorrect, charging me for the martini I did not drink, but was eventually fixed. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and refused to pay the service charge, a bartender argued with me about the cocktail. The staff clearly needs better training in handling customer complaints. They should engage with customers more and ask for feedback. Speaking Italian amongst themselves was also off-putting. Overall, I did not appreciate the treatment I received and cannot recommend this place. I suggest trying Four Seasons or the Arch bar at Intercontinental Park Lane instead.
We ate very well Prices in the average, full menu. Educated and kind staff. Great location original and particular. I definitely recommend it
Food french with good service.Very noisy at lunchtime but a good place to see celebrities. Ideal for breakfast. Eggs Benedict delicious. Opposite New Bond Street. Wonderful decorations at Christmas but a great place to walk up to Oxford Street. Full of expensive designer shops and galleries. A great place tio shop window and wish upon a star!
I accept Knightsbridge restaurants are likely to be slightly ahead on pricing compared with other places in central London, but this is exploitative. Don't dare do in to order simple bottles of water! The hotel charged Edward Heaton £5.50 for each of the bottles (Pelligrino), before adding on a “minimum spend” of £50.17, and a service charge of £8.33 – bringing the total bill to £75!
