Inn Of The Hawke - Lambertville

[Note: restaurant has exposed vegan menu during COVID operations] the regular menu had a few options that could be made vegan by removing the cheese or cream and/or replacing meat for tofu. the employees were generally aware of the veganization of regular menu items, but the modified elements we tried (buffalo tofu wing and sweet potato sandwich) were moderate.

Separate vegan menu, with about 8 choices, plus all salads can be veganized with tofu. made the house hawke veggie burger. very delicious! husband had the black buoyant pack, the pico is really good too big for him to finish! house has made chips for the victor! really nice staff. bar is casual, terrace is beautiful

Separate vegan menu was very helpful. I was hoping it would be a bit more extensive, but maybe I'm just spoiled. the white bean ravioli were delicious (and spicy! but it was very expensive in my opinion (I think $18, and there was only 7 ravioli . also got the impossible burger who was great. I was glad that my man gave me something, or I would have left very hungry. the terrace was beautiful and ambiente very nice. I would go back, but not on my list.

They change the regular menu about weekly, and there is always at least one vegetarian entree there. I’ve been here several times, and last time I was there I was excited to find out they’ve added a vegan menu, which makes it so much easier to order and added a bunch of new options! The vegan menu has a buffalo tofu wrap, house made veggie burger, portobello sandwich, Impossible Burger, black bean and guacamole wrap, and white bean ravioli. They will swap out any of the meats on the salads for tofu, and their salads are huge! Also, they will do tofu buffalo wings as an appetizer. The blackberry hoisin wing sauce (the special sauce of the week last time I was there) was delicious. Drink-wise, the house made shrubs are great.

Food was excellent, service fantastic. We had a reservation for 6 and things couldn't have been better. Bar was way too crowded after dinner, but I guess that means everyone loves the Hawke.
