Went in and waited for pizza to takeaway, we got 2 pizzas, a garlic bread and a portion of chips and it cost just over €30 which I thought was reasonable. My husband and I both enjoyed our pizzas and my daughter liked her garlic bread, we all thought the chips were good to. Staff member was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food
After a long day with lots of walking we wanted somewhere near our hotel. I was a bit wary of visiting this restaurant the name sounds a bit like an American chain. However, on entering I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable, relaxed ambiance and the friendly welcome. After ordering the drinks we were given a plate of complimentary cabbage, which was actually much nicer than it sounds! We didn't think we could manage a whole pizza each, so we ordered a vegetarian pizza and a Greek salad. Whilst the pizza was fabulous, the salad was a sad little affair: lots of iceberg lettuce with a few chunks of tomato and cucumber, and a some green olives. Even the few cubes of feta didn't improve the dish. I left a lot, and felt justified in treating myself to a dessert instead. My tiramisu was a very generous portion and very yummy (with whipped cream on the side), as was my partner's brownie with vanilla ice cream and more, guess what, whipped cream. The cappuccinos to finish were also prepared with whipped cream, so almost another dessert! Apart from the Greek salad we enjoyed all the food. Service was helpful, fairly attentive and friendly throughout. Our bill, including a large glass each of a very decent Ribera del Duero red wine, and a tip, was EUR41. Not bad for what we had. I would go again if I wanted a good pizza! Don't be put off by the name..
Lovely restaurant located quite centrally and easy to find. Very friendly, helpful service. Great food and good value for money. The caprese salad was excellent and the homemade pizzas were delicious. Would definitely recommend
We always make the time to eat here when in Albir. The location is great for people watching with a glass of vino and the food is really good. Don’t be ,put off by the name, which gives the image of it being like Pizza Hut or Dominos....this it most certainly isn’t. The pizzas are fresh, huge and really tasty, but our favourite is the Spahetti Carbanara. Perfect amount of sauce ,not to dry and not to wet.We have noticed this year that they don’t give you an appetiser of the sauerkraut, like normal, but we assume that it’s due to the affect on the economy from Covid. This hasn’t put us off at all and we will continue to return. In fact more so, to support local businesses.
