Woodstock Bbq - Lakewood

The food here is fantastic! I was really pleased with the Brisket Plate. However, the Two Meat One Side option was a letdown. While the turnip greens were delicious, the portion of Texas sausage was disappointingly small (sliced in a way that made it hard to tell it was less than a full link), and there were only four rib tips, which had too much gristle. Both tasted good, but they didn't match the value of the brisket. Additionally, I’m not a fan of corn in cornbread. I typically have no issues with cornbread, but I had to remove the corn kernels from it. The order was delivered promptly, and I will definitely order again, just not the two-meat or three-meat plates.

I had an amazing experience at Woodstock! I visited for the first time this afternoon, and I have to say, our server was fantastic—friendly and with a great sense of humor! We started with the dry rub wings, which were meaty, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor! For my main course, I ordered the ribs and pastrami combo, accompanied by coleslaw and cornbread. Everything was delicious! The sauces on the table were all great, but my favorite was the sweet one. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Woodstock!

I stopped by for an early dinner, and it was fantastic. The ribs were some of the best I've ever had—very meaty and tender, but not so tender that they fell off the bone. The portion sizes were generous, offering great value even in today’s economy.

Good food. Small bar atmosphere. Friendly and fast service. We had loaded pulled pork fries, chicken tacos and two meat platter. (Pulled pork with ribs tips. Large piece of cornbread.

This is what bbq should look like! I really enjoyed how the ribs were fall off the bone tender. The brisket was also very easily cut with a fork. I very much enjoyed the 4 different choices of bbq sauces to choose from. My ONLY complaint is that I wish the meats would have imparted a little more smoke flavor I crave. Overall, very good, and would def order from again. Friendly, and fast service.
