Granny Scott's Pie Shop - Lakewood

Not a lot of pie shops around, but in addition to an amazing selection of pies, this place is a nice little cafe where you can get breakfast and coffee. Small area, maybe 8 or 10 tables, but very warm atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Great service, great coffee, and a great morning stop. I ate half the cheesecake before I remembered to take a picture!

I bought an apple pie it was alright, not the best I've had. Usually they are amazing. I was disappointed first because they wouldn't let me buy the rhubarb mixed fruit pie that was in the display case and second the apple pie was a little burnt. Hopefully this was a one time incident and the quality isn't declining.

I got chocolate cream, banana cream and maybe a pecan roll. The guy helping was not overly friendly and when I asked about the pecan roll, he mumble something. So I'm taking a chance it is pecan roll. I tried the chocolate cream, the chocolate cream were good. The crust was over done. I didn't care much for the crust. I only tried them because my Lyft driver said they were the best. But hey, I tried something new.

I went to Granny Scott's for a piece of cherry pie and a bunch of obnoxious teenagers were rink by the show. The pie was mediocre at best. It was ice cold and the flavor was pretty bland. This place used to be so good. :
