Hidden Beach - Lakeside Marblehead

We visited here a few times this week (of the laboratory day) during the stay at Red Fern Inn in Marblehead. Nice that they were open, because not much other than that, we came for several meals, and called other guests of the Inn here. The ambience was the best part. Many seats near the docks The food: the menu seemed limited as I am sure is often after the laboratory day. The lobster roll- a good amount of lobster but missing overall taste. The perch fillet basket- good amount of food, perch was nice, slightly broken, good taste. The chicken tong basket (as an evening the grill was closed) was again good, a nice amount of food. Does not have to try the hamburger, but other tables saw appetite. Beverages: looked like a good amount of cocktail choices, we stayed firm to beer as we had to return to MarbleheadRestrooms were clean overall, a few nice visits, would return

Fun place to the boat. Much transient docks, free. Food was fine, nothing special. It's really hidden: you have to get there whether you come on land or water.

Can't complain, it's a cozy little hangout me and the woman really liked to go back anyway

Love this place! Great drinks and very relaxed atmosphere. Live entertainment through Labor Day. Limited menu that I hope they expand a little in the future. Always sad when they close for the season so we'll be there often until the end of the month.
