Przekaż informację zwrotnąDo not camp here! Dirty bathrooms, empty lots run down and unsafe. Owners are complete A-holes and do not care about the park. They do not put any money back into the campground or do anything for the seasonal camper's! I would not recommend camping here! Pool has broken old chairs, not heated, playground hasn't been updated since the 70s.
Nice, mature park. Plenty of shade and great people. Staff is wonderful. Best pool around.Playground: Nice for kids.Restrooms: Clean.Dog-friendliness: Love dogs there. They always get treats.
Terri was wonderful with helping get us set up for our weekend stay at Fort Firelands. We were there for a fishing trip so we were gone most of the day, but we thoroughly enjoyed our evenings there at the campground. What a friendly group of people, and beautiful water views. The wide roads were easy to navigate with our big 5th wheel. One improvement would be online or electronic payment booking options.Thank you again and we look forward to future stays.
This place used to be very nice but that was 20 years ago. Not anymore because the newer owners (son and daughter in law of the actual older owners care less about the place. They really are horrible owners. About the worst I have ever seen in running any business let alone how they don't care about their own park and how they seem to hate (and avoid most people in general. (Don't get me started on this and I could say a lot more. No shops open. No flea markets anymore. Fort falling over. (Look behind it all. . Few working night lights. Maintenance issues galore! Safety concerns. Horrible playground. (Look close! . Horrible basketball area. No boats. Falling over and sinking docks. I can add more here too but why bother. Frankly this place just sucks!
If we could rate them a ZERO star we would! Was there for many years. Used to be great! But now… Watched the park decline year after year after year to a now zero. It’s actually very sad too as we used to really care about the place and enjoy it fully. Lots of people did MANY YEARS AGO! But now… Horrible park management but especially ownership. There are zero tenants in front stores. Zero opening of the fort for fun events or seemingly near zero maintenance of it anymore. Near zero lights on in the main parking lot at night. Near zero bolts left in the playground merry go round. Zero good ways to play on the basketball court as concrete so bad and cracked so bad. Zero on electrical safety. (Broken light poles; broken outlets; open wires out at places ; zero care by the city about any of this either. Zero boats in the docks. Near zero happy long term truly happy campers. Zero talk about the owners or you’ll get kicked out. Zero maintenance of the docks. Near zero good or safe ways to boat in the water behind the park. About zero dollars put into real park improvements (unless they have to it seems or beautification. Near zero care by the owners about the park in any positive way anymore. Near zero care about tenants that care about the place. (Or used to anyway. Zero care about you! But… Hey wait… they do get a FIVE on this: I think now there are nearly… FIVE supports holding up the fort walls to keep them from falling over. Think we’re kidding… book a weekend or a season (if you get approved and boy do we have stories on this! there for yourself. Number of times you’ll be back: ZERO if you really look around, pay attention and get to meet the owners and ask people how they run and feel about the place. Need photos to prove much of this… we got them! Just ask.
