Great quiet location, friendly service & amazing food. Every time I visit the menu has creative & tasty new additions. Would highly recommend!

I regularly have coffee here and I'm yet to be disappointed. My family have fish and chips from here every Friday and whilst not cheap it is delicious.I would recommend to others the food and coffee but I don't eat there, so the criticisms others have made about noise may be valid.

Dropped into a place we did not know and got the surprise of our life. Excellent food, excellent service and superb coffee. Well done!!!

We visited last Saturday for a birthday lunch, we chose this establishment based on the reviews, sadly we were disappointed with the very slow service and noise level.As other reviewers have said, this is off the beaten path in a residential area. There are a few tables outside and quiet a few in, the menu offers what read to be good choices and options for different tastes, although mains are not cheap. We were promptly brought menus and drinks orders taken. This is where the good service ended.We ordered our mains and waited, and waited, and waited. It took over 35 mins for the meals to come out. They were not busy by any means (and if they think they were, they wont know what has hit them by NYE.). The meals were not steaks requiring long cooking, in fact the fish and chips would be the most cooking required. What made the wait worse, was the fact that two other people walked in well after us and got their food before us. Which was pretty poor. On top of all that, the place is so noisy when there are a few people in there, especially kids or babies that you cant hear each other talk. Really need some sound absorbing material on the roof at least, if not the cement floor as well.When a comment about the slow service time was made at paying, the reply was that they only had one chef on. Sorry to say but he or she needs to speed up a little.Whilst the food was OK, it was not cheap and we didnt stay for coffee due to the noise and time it took to get the meals. I wont return because of this experience, there are plenty of places in Lakes to eat.

Looked up menu online however when we got there, most of the menu was missing. Kids menu was very limited amd the breakfast options were also limited. Went elsewhere
